Knowing the principles and rules for designing a logo
A logo needs to portray the essence of your company. It should be simple and yet so effective. One reason your logo should be simple is that people process an image in their mind more readily than words alone. So it should be designed in such a way that it should be easily describable, memorable, and should be scalable. One more aspect you should remember is it should be effective even without colours because you use these logos on your letter heads for faxing.
